Cashew Friction Dust, Liquid CNSL Resin

SONA META CHEM, an ISO 9001:2008 certified Indian company engaged in manufacturing and exporting of raw material for Friction material industry globally. We have over 25 years of expertise and experience in manufacturing and developing material for friction material industry especially products based on Cashew Nut Shell Liquid.

We are located at Pondicherry, very near to port of Chennai (Formerly Madras) south of India very well connected to sea and air route.

PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED BY SONA META CHEM IN ITS OWN PLANT

Cashew Based Product:

 ▫ FRICTION DUSTS : Standard Brown and Black and modified with Furfural, Boron etc
 ▫ LIQUID RESINS & CASHEW POLYMER : CNSL base Liquid  Resin  (With or without solvent)  for  use  in  wet  process  for  Brake Linings, Clutch Facings,  Roll Linings and Railway Brake Blocks
 ▫ SOLID RESIN: For Railway Block for cold pressing process.
 ▫ ADHESIVE PREMIX : Fibrillated,  high  polymer  content  adhesive  premix for use  to  bond the steel back plates to the friction material for both warm and  hot pressing disc brake pad processes,
 ▫ HI FI PREMIX: A low cost friction modifier in pellet form. Developed for CV and PC brake linings, this can be used in both asbestos and asbestos free formulations.
 ▫ READY TO USE PREMIX: Non Asbestos Organic for Brake Lining, (Drum type Commercial vehicle) & Disc Brake Pad (Passenger Car and Commercial Vehicle) & Roll Lining.
 ▫ CARDANOL (CASHEW PHENOL): A distillate product of Cashew Nut Shell Liquid.

 ▫ VERMICULITE-EXFOLIATED: Fully exfoliated Vermiculite for use in Friction Material industry.
 ▫ STEEL FIBRE & STEEL WOOL : Steel Fibre and wool made from low carbon steel
 ▫ STEEL BACKING PLATE : For Disc Brake Pad
 ▫ GRAPHITE : Natural Flakes and Synthetic
 ▫ PETRO COKE: Calcinated
 ▫ BARYTES POWDER: A high purity product in super white and off white colour.
