Vice President of Sales

The Position:

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of either sales in auto parts, or automobile, or similar industry and ability to identify market opportunities.  The selected candidate will plan and execute sales strategies to drive product sales growth; will cultivate and pursue new leads, respond to request for proposal, and manage a sales/marketing group to look for new opportunities.  The selected candidate will be responsible for recruiting a sales team, and on-going training and supporting the team.  This position is responsible for prospecting new business at top levels, directing customer engagement, and working with others to improve product knowledge and efficiencies to drive sales.

Minimum Qualifications:

 ° A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline is strongly preferred;
 ° Must have significant sales and marketing experience in Auto parts, or similar industry;
 ° Minimum 15 year successful sales and marketing experience in Auto Parts or Automobile industry, including 10 years management or above experience;
 ° Must be able to identify and cultivate clients, develop proposals, and close business deals on medium to large projects;
 ° Excellent time management and organizational skills;
 ° Ability and experience in developing strategic plans to meet/exceed established sales forecasts;
 ° Must be computer literate.
