Motion Control Industries is seeking a results
oriented Process Engineer to be based at its production facility located in
Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Responsibilities include:

• |
Provide engineering support in the areas of
troubleshooting, quality, R&D, waste reduction, productivity improvements,
safety and new processes. |
|
• |
Continuous review and updating of process
specifications. |
|
• |
Provide samples and conduct process trials;
assist R&D. |
|
• |
Active participation in the quality improvement
process. |
|
• |
Active participant in the cost reduction
programs. |
|
• |
Update working knowledge of new process
technologies. |
|
• |
Maintain computer databases including product
descriptions and all manufacturing data. |
|
• |
Assist production in the specifics of new
process equipment. |
Qualifications include:
|
• |
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
and 5+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment. |
|
• |
Previous experience in the
manufacturing of friction material is preferred. |
|
• |
Experience in an ISO9001:2000
environment is preferred. |
|
• |
Should have knowledge of
statistical process control (SPC) and experimental design (DOE). |
