Motion Control Industries is seeking a results oriented Project Engineer to be based at its Research and Development facility located in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Responsibilities include:

 •

To effectively manage all Dynamometer, Small Sample, and Vehicle Test activities consistent with Project requirements within the Department budget

 •

To develop improved product performance testing facilities and procedures.

 •

To establish innovative technical solutions to product installation problems.

 •

To liaise with customers regarding brake systems issues.

 •

To maintain contact with suppliers of testing facilities and supplies

 •

To develop and implement product performance test procedures as required by project activities.

 •

To generate drawings for prototype tooling to support new projects as necessary.

 •

To troubleshoot and manage our dynamometer control systems.

 •

To manage facility maintenance.

Qualifications include:

 •

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

 •

Minimum 5 years friction industry experience.
