Position Filled - No Longer Accepting Applications
ITT Friction Technologies is seeking an Application Engineer / Program Manager for their Novi, Michigan location. Candidate will support customers by providing technical, design, and production application guidance to meet customer needs.
The position functions as the primary liaison between ITT and the customer. The position appraises the product technical needs, monitors customer activities, directs and applies resources pertinent to product development and program support, assembles information and presents status to customers, derives action plans based on project status, defines project timing and presents reports on the project status.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
| ° | Identify product requirements to meet customer need |
| ° | Develop and maintain a Design Verification Plan (performance requirements, results) |
| ° | Maintain and review Design Records (drawings, specifications) |
| ° | Develop and maintain Project Action Plans (reactions, root cause identification) |
| ° | Develop and maintain Project Timelines (project targets, durations, sequence, responsible) |
| ° | Coordinate the activities of all ITT departments to ensure customer satisfaction |
| ° | Present status reports to management |
Minimum Qualifications
| ° | Bachelor's Degree (Engineering) |
| ° | Experience in brake design, statistics and program management |
| ° | 3+ years experience in the area of brakes or specifically friction materials |
