Virginia based company is looking for hands on plant manager. The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 year’s exposure to all areas of plant operations. Experience of the manufacturing of disc pucks and I/M disc pad products a plus. The essential skills include but are not limited to an excellent knowledge and understanding of performers, hot presses, puck drills, grinders, and assembly operations. Other skills include working knowledge of common software applications, such as Microsoft Office. The ability to use lean manufacturing in the production process a plus. The successful candidate would be a self starter, have a strong work ethic, enthusiastic, and be able to effectively motivate a staff of 50 team members. The manager would also be directly responsible for daily and monthly company production goals, financial plan, and overall condition of the facility.
