Tintore VP Aftermarket Sales and Martin Baisch as Global Marketing
Manager for Friction Materials
Honeywell has appointed Miquel Tintoré as Vice President
of Aftermarket Sales, and Martin Baisch as Global Marketing Manager,
for its Friction Materials business.
Tintoré will succeed
Willy Mohler, who is retiring. Tintoré has been with Honeywell since
2003, first as a Marketing Manager for the Europe, Middle East and
Africa region of the Honeywell Building Automation business unit.
Most recently he served as Vice President of Marketing for Friction
Materials, where he helped create global marketing programs and
standardized the organization and its processes. Tintoré studied
electrical engineering in Barcelona and obtained an MBA at INSEAD in
Fontainebleau, France. In his new role, he is responsible for the
global sales of Bendix® and Jurid® brake products.
Martin Baisch comes from
South Africa and studied mechanical engineering in Johannesburg. He
obtained an eMBM at the Free University of Berlin. A qualified
engineer, he has been with Honeywell since 2003 and until 2007 was
Account Manager for Honeywell Turbo Technologies before taking on a
strategic marketing role within the unit.
Mohler worked a total of
38 years for Honeywell’s Bendix and Jurid brands and held a number
of senior sales roles. As Global Sales Manager for the Aftermarket
business, he standardized the local sales organizations and
implemented a restructuring program. Mohler was able to increase
sales volume in a tough competitive environment and has played a
major role in the success of Honeywell’s historical brake brands.
Friction Materials LLC,
a business unit of Honeywell International Inc., is headquartered in
Glinde, Germany. Serving both original equipment and aftermarket
customers, products offered include Bendix® and Jurid® friction
materials and hard parts.
