10th November 2009 - Affinia Group and Dura International Settle Lawsuit

Affinia Group Inc., an innovative global leader in the design, manufacture, distribution and marketing of industrial grade products and services issued the following statement today:

"Affinia and Dura have agreed to resolve their differences in this lawsuit on confidential terms and with the dismissal of all claims and counterclaims with prejudice. The parties have also agreed to enter a mutual consent judgment in the lawsuit. Dura is no longer a target of Affinia’s ongoing light weight rotor campaign. Each party withdraws its contentions that the other engaged in false advertising. An agreed order will be presented to the Court which will set forth the parties’ agreement to this effect."

(The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court, Richmond, VA.)
