10th March 2009 - WABCO Sweeps Three Top Supplier Awards at CNHTC, China's Largest Manufacturer of Heavy Duty Trucks

WABCO Holdings Inc., a global technology leader and tier one supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, today announced that WABCO has been honored with a suite of top supplier awards by China National Heavy Truck Corporation (CNHTC), the largest manufacturer of heavy duty trucks in China.

In recognition of WABCO's performance during 2008, CNHTC Truck Company honored WABCO with its Best Quality Award for product quality excellence and outstanding delivery and after sales services; CNHTC's Engine Business Unit named WABCO as Best Supplier for overall outstanding contribution and commercial partnership, and CNHTC Special Purpose Vehicle Company honored WABCO with its Best Quality Award.

WABCO began supplying CNHTC in 1997 and currently provides air management, braking systems including anti-lock braking, and transmission control products. CNHTC's top supplier awards were recently presented to Sujie Yu, WABCO Original Equipment Sales Leader, at CNHTC's Commercial Convention held in Hangzhou, Jinan, China.

In December 2008, WABCO started supplying its new modular automated manual transmission (AMT) system to CNHTC, the world's first original equipment manufacturer to adopt WABCO's highly advanced modular AMT system in volume production.
