22nd June 2007 - Haldex Brake Products Monterrey Mexico Receives ISO/TS 16949:2002 Certification Haldex Brake Products Monterrey, Mexico has been awarded the ISO/TS 16949: 2002 certification as a manufacturer of air brake actuators including product design, purchasing, sales and customer service. Haldex is a leading manufacturer and distributor of heavy-duty air brake systems and suspension control system components. It operates globally with headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri and manufacturing and engineering facilities located in the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Brazil and India. Together with ISO 9001:2000, ISO/TS 16949:2002 specifies the quality system requirements for the design/development, production, installation and servicing of automotive related products. ISO 9001 is a family of standards for quality management system and is maintained by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization and is administered by accreditation and certification bodies. Particular requirements of ISO/TS 16949 have been originated by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) integrated by ANFIA, CCFA/FIEV, SMMT, VDA and car manufacturers DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Company and General Motors Corporation.
