NUCAP Industries of Toronto, Canada and Berkelium of Pamplona, Spain announced this morning that they have signed an agreement for NUCAP's acquisition of a major interest in ADI Metalparts S.A., a Pamplona-based manufacturer of Disc Brake Backing Plates and Accessories.

The soon-to-be-renamed company will direct NUCAP's operational and sales  activities in Europe and the Mediterranean Basin, and will retain Mr. Eduardo Unzu as General Manager.  NUCAP Europe S.A. is seen as a major part of NUCAP's Global Product/Global Reach strategies, providing NUCAP with existing business relationships and viable logistics via ADI's operations and customer network.

Juan Miguel Sucunza, CEO of Berkelium S.L. and NUCAP Europe, adds "A Joint Venture with a global leader like NUCAP will take this existing company and move it forward into a leadership position in the category, presenting the widest product portfolio and the most efficient and innovative solutions in the  market.  The synergy of the two companies, capabilities and product lines makes this joining a perfect  fit".
