6th July 2006 - Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems Named Top Supplier by WestPac Heavy Duty

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, a North American leader in commercial vehicle safety and braking system technologies, announced today it has been named Vendor of the Year and recipient of the PAC award by Westpac Heavy Duty Inc., doing business as C.W. Carter Co.

Bendix was selected as Vendor of the Year from more than 150 companies by receiving the highest marks on Westpac Heavy Duty’s supplier scorecard. The scorecard consists of 15 categories, such as profitability, fill rate, marketing assistance and other intangible services. Bendix is the only company that excelled in every category. In addition, Bendix received the PAC award, bestowed upon six vendors that represent outstanding supplier achievement, based on the Westpac Heavy Duty’s supplier scorecard. All departments within the Westpac Heavy Duty organization participated and scored vendors on a scale from one to 10. Additional PAC recipients include Gates Corporation, Red Dot Corporation, Carlisle Motion Control, Permatex and Wix Filtration Products. This is the second consecutive year Bendix received the PAC award.
