12th April 2006 - Affinia Under Vehicle Group Assists Gulf Coast Hurricane Victims Clothing Donation Part of Ongoing Disaster Response Efforts in Louisiana and Mississippi Affinia Under Vehicle Group recently donated over 1,200 articles of Raybestos® brand brakes and Spicer® Chassis apparel to victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita as part of ongoing hurricane disaster response efforts in Louisiana and Mississippi. The donation, which included shirts, jackets, vests and other clothing, was distributed to Gulf Coast residents in need through the Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jennings, La., the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Alexandria, La., and Lutheran Episcopal Disaster Response in Biloxi, Miss. “Everyone at Affinia Under Vehicle Group felt a strong desire to help the people along the Gulf Coast who were devastated by last year’s hurricanes,” said Ken Myers, marketing manager for Affinia Under Vehicle Group. “Many people in these areas have lost everything and experienced traumas that most of us could never imagine.
