22nd March 2006 - Mintex Displays ‘Out-of-the-Box’ Thinking with Cera TEC™ On 4 March 2006 TMD Friction announced a clever new packaging and display concept has been launched by TMD Friction for its Mintex Cera TEC™. Heralded as an ‘innovation in lubrication’, Cera TEC™ is an advanced lubricant and a cleaner, safer alternative to traditional copper-based greases used in the fitment of brake pads. Though suitable for a wide range of applications, Cera TEC’s metal-free (and therefore non-conductive) composition makes it ideal for use with modern A.B.S. systems and it has the ability to operate effectively even up to temperatures of 1000°C. Almost as much of an innovation, Cera TEC™ is now being shipped in a carton that not only holds the product safely in transit, but upon its arrival is easily able to be assembled into a dynamic point of sale counter display. The box contains 36 tubes of Cera TEC™ - a quantity ideally suited to most distributors.
