29th November 2005 - Hugo Castrillon Joins NUCAP Research & Development

NUCAP Industries announced this week that Mr. Hugo Castrillon has joined NUCAP as the Director of NUCAP's Product Research & Development Group. Hugo's addition to the NUCAP Product Development team brings his many years of success in the development of friction products to NUCAP's busy product development efforts.

"Hugo's knowledge brings a counterbalance to our product development process, allowing us to accelerate our R&D programs," states NUCAP founder and Chairman, Ray Arbesman.

"To meet our goals in the development of products that benefit customers in performance, production, and profit, NUCAP needs someone internally that can quickly evaluate the many product concepts that we develop and then direct the development and testing of only those products that meet these goals".

"I'm looking forward to working with our Friction Manufacturing customers," comments Hugo. "I believe that NUCAP has opportunity to help improve the economic model of the industry with any number of the technologies we have in development, as well as having a foundation product 'toolkit' for customers to tap in improving on-vehicle performance."

Mr. Castrillon will be based out of NUCAP's Ridgetop facility in Toronto, home of NUCAP's new R&D center. His kick-off project will be working with Link Testing of Detroit Michigan to certify NUCAP's new Dynamometer to ensure results obtained in testing at NUCAP are calibrated to Link and SAE standards.
