8th September 2005 - Catherine Gallagher to Join Affinia Group Aftermarket sales specialist Catherine Gallagher has accepted the position of Senior Vice President, CARQUEST Sales, effective September 7, 2005. “We couldn’t have asked for a better person to lead our customer relationship efforts with CARQUEST,” said John Washbish, President of Affinia’s CRM team. “Not only does she know and appreciate our customer relationships, but she has a working knowledge of our business. She has proven experience with CARQUEST, a long-standing career in the aftermarket has even worked as a Raybestos District Manager.” Gallagher will be the key contact person within Affinia for all product lines sold to CARQUEST, involved in decisions regarding sales, marketing, pricing, product, distribution and customer service to CARQUEST. She will work closely with CARQUEST to coordinate sales and marketing activities to attain sales growth consistent with the objectives of Affinia and CARQUEST. Gallagher comes to Affinia from Federal Mogul, where she served as Director of CARQUEST Sales & Marketing, coordinating program development and holding budgetary and management responsibilities, including overseeing price and contract negotiations. While at Federal Mogul, she also held the position of CARQUEST Sales Manager, CARQUEST Marketing Manager, and numerous sales positions throughout her career with Federal Mogul. A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Gallagher began her career in the automotive aftermarket, working as Store Manager for Krouse Auto Parts in New Bethlehem, PA.
