25th August 2005 - Leinweber Maschinen Offers "Rowland" Grinding Equipment

Leinweber Maschinen, one of the leading machinery supplier to the friction industry, has purchased a license to supply ROWLAND Drum Brake Finishing Equipment to the worldwide Friction Market.

“Rowland (Automasters) ceased doing business at the end of 2004 providing Leinweber an opportunity to expand our product line.  Now Leinweber can be a full product line supplier to Customers Worldwide.”, stated Harald Gruber, Sales & Marketing Manager of Leinweber Maschinen.

With this expanded product line, Leinweber is capable of offering a complete product range of hot press manufacturing and finishing equipment for:

. 1) passenger cars disc brake pads and linings
. 2) light and heavy duty truck disc brake pads and
. 3) drum blocks for heavy duty trucks and railway applications

These lines include hot press systems with simple integration to continuous post curing ovens, and finishing equipment for grinding, powder painting and scorching.

At the end of the lines assembling system modules are available for anti-noise shim attachment, hardware attachment (riveting units), wear sensor drilling, printing and labelling of parts and boxes.

To reduce our Customers production costs of brake pads and linings dramatically, many of these systems can be supplied in stand alone versions or connected together to a "LEAN MANUFACTURING SOLUTION", which allows Customers to realize fast payback on their investments.

David George, former Sales and Technical Manager of Automasters (Rowland), is now Technical Director of D&A Engineering. David will support Leinweber’s customers with his extensive design and operation experience in Rowland finishing machinery acting as an official partner of Leinweber Maschinen for Rowland type products.

If you have ROWLAND equipment today, Leinweber can provide support and upgrades of machines as required.

Leinweber has been a key machinery Supplier for the Friction Industry for more than 30 years bringing the knowledge and expertise necessary to support your operations.
