Palmer International (Skippack, PA) has selected Jinan Shengquan Hepworth Chemical (www.sqhepworth.com) as its principal distributor for engineered friction particles in China. Shengquan Hepworth enjoys a dominant share of phenolic resin sales to the friction material industry, and now is very pleased to be adding Palmer’s technologies to compliment its product line.

“Shengquan Hepworth will be adopting our global marketing strategy, namely demonstrating the value that specialty additives can bring to formulators over the standard brown particle technology,” says Bruce Palmer, President. “We looked at several options to serve China including selling direct, Shengquan Hepworth was the clear winner,” adds Douglas Brown, Managing Director of Palmer (UK).

Shengquan Hepworth is off to a successful start, exhibiting at this year’s show hosted by The China Friction and Sealing Material Association in Wuhan.
