14th July 2005 - Affinia Under Vehicle Group Appoints Director of Global Sourcing
The Purchasing Department for Affinia Under Vehicle Group, reorganizing into a center led strategic global sourcing team, has appointed Jane Johnson to the position of Director of Global Sourcing, starting immediately.
Jane comes to Affinia Under Vehicle Group with a wealth of knowledge and over 25 years of leadership experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement and supply chain management for both manufacturing and distribution. She has broad experience in both domestic and international sourcing of commodities.
Previously with Motorola, Jane has served in several roles within that organization, including Manager of Supplier Partner Relations, Distribution Center Operations Manager and MRP Implementation Manager. She has also been an active champion and mentor for APICS, ISO Auditing, ERP, WMS and Six Sigma.
Jane has a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Philosophy from Dana College in Blair, Nebraska, and is working towards her Master of Business Administration (MBA).
