15th March 2005 - Raybestos® Brand Brakes Honored by Parts Plus

Raybestos® brand brakes and WIX Filters were both honored by Parts Plus at their annual convention in New Orleans, La., according to John Washbish, president of Customer Relationship Management for Affinia Group Inc.

“It is a tremendous honor to receive one award, so needless to say, we are very proud to receive two,” said Washbish.  “We have a long, successful partnership with Parts Plus.  Our Customer Relationship Management team is charged with delivering value to our customers and supporting their efforts to deliver outstanding performance to their customers.  This unified sales effort is evidenced by the presentation of these prestigious awards to our Under Hood and Under Vehicle Groups.”

The Under Vehicle Group was awarded the Marketing Vendor of the Year Award for its Raybestos® brand.  Accepting the award on behalf of Affinia was Kim Tingley, director of sales – Parts Plus, David Heatherly, regional manager, Rich Sanderson, regional manager and Jay Duffy, regional manager.

The Logistics Vendor of the Year Award was presented to the Under Hood Group for its WIX brand.  Bill Sheehan, vice president of sales, Barry Faile, product planning manager and Bruce Johnston, brand manager, accepted the award on behalf of Affinia.
